In order to deliver treatment, we need to collect and process personal data. It is a legal requirement for this data to be stored for a number of years (which can vary depending upon age but will be for a minimum of seven years).
You can access your data, which the practice stores, via a written request.
Podiatry treatment records are kept in a locked cabinet, the key being kept in a key-safe within the clinic.
In the event of the practice being sold personal data would be transferred to the new owner. A patient not wanting their information transferred would be able to opt out of this process by informing the practice in writing.
